Valentine's Virtual 5K!

Nothing says I love UK Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Assistants quite like Cavell’s Valentine’s Day Virtual 5k!

What is it?

The virtual event encourages walking or running a 5K between the 8th and 21st February. The campaign aims to celebrate and recognise the wonderful UK nursing family while raising vital money for nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants in hardship right now.

Since March 2020, when the pandemic hit the UK, Cavell Nurses Trust have seen a 175% increase in the number of UK nursing and midwifery staff needing their help compared to the same period the year before.

By taking part in the virtual event, you’ll be helping to build a long term safety net for those suffering a personal or financial crisis.

How are L&R getting involved?

We're proud to be sponsoring this amazing event to show our support of the roll over of the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, and our recognition for the fantastic work that our healthcare professionals do.

Not only are we sponsoring the event, but L&R employees, their friends and families are also getting involved by taking on the challenge. Look out for our updates on how our employees got on with their 5K on social media channels.
