Medical Devices company, Lohmann and Rauscher, are proud to support their local community

Medical Devices company, Lohmann and Rauscher, are proud to support their local community by donating 16 refurbished iPad Air 2 devices to Village Primary Academy in Derby.

The iPads will support pupils in Year 1 to access the tools they need to aid learning for reading and arithmetic lessons, in addition to the development of the children’s technological skills.

Head of The Harmony Trust Academy, Vicky Brown, said “we would like to pass our sincere thanks for this gift, many of our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds and the iPads will support their learning a great deal.”

As a local resident with great connections to the academy over many years, Grace Burton Omni-Channel Content Coordinator, initiated the request after an internal upgrade of equipment. Grace said “I’m really grateful that we get the opportunity to support our local community at L&R. Especially by donating equipment that can aid learning and support students and teachers alike.”
