There will be a change in the Executive Board at Lohmann & Rauscher (L&R). The Advisory Board of L&R has named Thomas Menitz new CEO as of December 1, 2024 (up to now COO and Senior Executive Vice President).
The new deputy and Senior Executive Vice President will be CFO Holger Mägdefrau. The current CEO Wolfgang Süßle will leave the company November 30, 2024 by mutual agreement to take on new challenges and tasks. The Advisory Board thanks Wolfgang Süßle for his successful work for the L&R Group.
The Advisory Board is convinced Thomas Menitz is the right person to take over as Chairman and CEO. With his long years of experience and his dynamic style, he brings the ideal prerequisites to drive new areas of growth and change as well as focus on important topics such as innovation, internationalization and agility. The new L&R Group Executive Board comprises Thomas Menitz as CEO, Holger Mägdefrau as CFO and Dr. Klemens Schulz as CPO.
The new L&R CEO Thomas Menitz was born in 1974 in Austria and started his career at L&R in 1994.
Since 2011 he has been the Executive Board member responsible for the entire Supply Chain Operations of the L&R Group as well as for Rauscher Consumer Products. Since 2016, he was also the deputy and Senior Executive Vice President.
The Advisory Board thanks Wolfgang Süßle for his unwavering and successful work for and at the L&R Group. Wolfgang Süßle was President, CEO und CCO since 2011 and led the company since then driving the growth of L&R into the global company it is today.
