Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2023

Raising vital funds for UK nursing and midwifery professionals in hardship

The Yorkshire Three Peaks

Proud to be the sole sponsor of Cavell Nurses Trust Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2023.

Known as Britain’s classic hillwalking challenge – it is a 24-mile walk through the idyllic Yorkshire Dales, where you summit the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough in under 12 hours.

You’ll ascend 1585 meters on challenge day and take in some breathtaking views. All while supporting the nursing and midwifery family through financial and personal hardship.

Taking place on the 24th of June 2023. Are you up for the challenge?

L&R and Cavell Nurses’ Trust

Cavell Nurses’ Trust is the charity supporting UK nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers, working and retired, when they’re suffering personal or financial hardship often due to illness, disability, older age, domestic abuse and the ongoing cost of living crisis.

We have been apart of the ‘Working with’ Cavell Nurses’ Trust membership programme since 2019. Over the past four years Cavell Nurses’ Trust has seen a 230% rise in nursing and midwifery professionals seeking help from the charity. Our ongoing support has never been more vital to help transform the lives of healthcare professionals in need.

All of us at L&R UK are extremely proud of our established relationship with Cavell Nurses’ Trust. Supporting the people who care for us and our health is so important to us as a team.

Supporting your legs and feet

This year team L&R UK are ready to take a step up from Snowdon and raise our challenge by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Our team will be joining the journey to conquer three summits in 12 hours while raising vital funds to make a life-changing impact to nursing professionals in the UK.

12 hours of hillwalking can be gruelling on your mind and body, and place increased pressure on your legs. Wearing compression socks or stockings during and post exercise can offer multiple benefits to your leg health. That’s why we will be wearing our compression socks to prevent leg fatigue and to support the recovery process.
